2. Data Collected

As part of our parcel tracking services, we collect:

• Recipient first and last name (provided by the merchant via Shopify)
• Full delivery address
• Shopify order number
• Tracking data (status, parcel location, timestamps)

3. Purpose of Processing

The data is used exclusively for:

• Enabling real-time shipment tracking
• Generating shipping labels
• Communicating delivery status via Shopify
• Providing aggregated statistics to merchants

4. Data Protection

The public tracking page never displays the recipient’s full address. Only the abbreviated name (e.g., "Jean D."), city, and postal code are visible. Access to complete data is reserved for authenticated administrators.

5. Data Retention

Tracking data is retained for the duration necessary for the service, then automatically archived 60 days after delivery. Data is never deleted, but access is restricted after archiving.

6. Your Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@parcelwise.eu.
